Welcome to 5xEvents. By browsing the site, signing in, or posting an event or organizer, you agree to these terms. Please read them; they are written to be clear, not clever.
Using 5xEvents#
You can browse events without an account. To post events, follow updates or manage organizers you need to sign in with Google. You must be at least 13 years old, and you are responsible for activity on your account.
Posting events and organizers#
- Only post real events you organise or are authorised to promote.
- Keep dates, venues, fees, eligibility and registration links accurate and up to date.
- Use images and text you own or have permission to use.
- Listings go through a quick review before they appear publicly. We may ask for fixes, edit formatting, or decline a listing.
What is not allowed#
- Fake, misleading or duplicate events, or events that charge fees for something that does not exist.
- Hate, harassment, adult content, or anything illegal.
- Spam, scraping, automated sign-ups, or attempts to break or overload the service.
- Impersonating a college, club, company or person.
Your content#
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you give 5xEvents a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, format and promote that content on 5xEvents and its social channels so people can discover your event. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies already shared or kept in backups for a limited time.
Registrations and third-party links#
Registrations, payments and tickets usually happen on the organiser’s own form or website. 5xEvents is not a party to those transactions and is not responsible for refunds, changes or cancellations; contact the organiser directly.
Suspension#
We may hide content or suspend accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk. If you think we got it wrong, write to us and we will take another look.
Disclaimers#
We work hard to keep listings accurate, but events are run by their organisers. 5xEvents is provided “as is”, without guarantees that every listing is complete, current or error-free.
Limitation of liability#
To the extent the law allows, 5xEvents is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or from attending an event listed on it.
Changes#
We may update these terms as the product grows. The date at the top always shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law#
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction over any dispute.
